Sole to Soil 2026

A movement education event, community fundraiser, and environmental action — all in one guided barefoot walk through Ngong Forest Sanctuary, Nairobi. 24 October 2026.

{# ── STATS ── Every tile here is a number we can point at a source for. The old row showed "Reach —" and "Conversions —" because `default:"—"` fires on 0 and no metric snapshot has ever been recorded for most campaigns, so a lone dash was the normal state rather than the exception. Tiles now render only when there is something real to put in them. #}

Ways to contribute
{# .rd-prose is what every other public narrative on the site uses. The card it used to sit in carried a hover lift, which on a block of body text reads as a broken interaction rather than an affordance. #}

Sole to Soil is not a shoe campaign. It is a movement reframing how the world relates to its own body — starting at the foot.

On 24 October 2026, Wellness Solutions Africa and Eskuri Barefoot host the flagship Sole to Soil community event: a guided 10 km barefoot walk through Ngong Forest Sanctuary, Nairobi. The event is educational, community-driven, and practical — a four-hour immersion in what natural movement feels like when you strip back the layers.

Three pillars

  • Biomechanical truth — feet are the structural foundation of every system above them. Most chronic pain above the ankle starts below it.
  • Intentional community — walking barefoot through an indigenous forest is an act of collective reclamation of what our bodies are built to do.
  • Product as tool, not trend — Eskuri Barefoot is a clinical-grade solution designed by the same practitioners who run foot pressure analysis and corrective exercise therapy in Nairobi.

The event is open to all fitness levels. Route coaching stops are accessible and educational. Movement coaches are stationed throughout.
