The job
Wellness Solutions Africa is a corrective exercise and posture studio at Western Heights, Westlands. Our trainers assess how people move, find what is behind their back, neck, knee or posture pain, and coach them through a plan. Clients come for single sessions, monthly memberships, and through their employer (corporate wellness). Today the owners do the marketing between client sessions, and it shows: posts go quiet, reviews wait for replies, ad plans sit unlaunched. We want one person to own marketing end to end and be judged on one thing above all: new people booking their first visit. You will work closely with the directors (who approve budgets and offers), the trainers (who appear in the content and check that what we say about the body is accurate), and the front desk (who answer the leads you bring in). Much of the groundwork is ready for you: a drafted Google Search campaign, Meta ad creatives, a library of filmed exercise clips, email lists in Brevo, and a website with tracking already in place.
What you will own
- Plan and run a monthly content calendar for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook: short reels filmed with our trainers in the studio, client stories (with permission), posters and stories. Schedule ahead in Meta Business Suite.
- Own our Google Business Profile: reply to every review within two days, keep services, hours and photos current, and ask happy clients for reviews.
- Run paid ads on Google Search and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) aimed at booked first visits. The directors approve the budget; you build, test, fix and report. A first Google Search campaign and three Meta creatives are already drafted for you to launch.
- Run email marketing in Brevo: the newsletter, and campaigns such as reassessment reminders and "we miss you" for clients who have stopped coming. Keep the lists healthy: unsubscribes honoured, bounces removed, sender settings correct.
- Plan community events and outreach: wellness walks, the next edition of our Sole to Soil walk and tree planting, and partnerships with running and cycling clubs, gyms and clinics who can send us clients.
- Support corporate wellness sales with the directors: follow-ups after workshops and discovery calls, simple proposals and case studies, LinkedIn.
- Keep offers, campaign pages and articles on our website current with the team (the site has its own editing tools; no coding needed).
- Make sure no lead is wasted: check that enquiries and booking requests reach the front desk quickly and find out what happened to them.
- Report monthly: leads, bookings and first visits by channel, ad spend, cost per lead and cost per first visit, what worked, and what you will change next month.
What you need
- At least two years running social media and paid ads for a business (not only personal accounts), with results you can show.
- You have spent a real ad budget on Meta and/or Google and can explain cost per lead and what you changed to bring it down.
- You can film and edit short vertical video on a phone (CapCut or similar) and make clean designs in Canva.
- Clear written English. Swahili is a plus for local content.
- Organised: you plan a month ahead, keep a calendar, and deliver without being chased.
- Comfortable talking to people: clients for testimonials, partners, club organisers.
- Based in Nairobi and able to be at the studio in Westlands for shoot days and planning.
Good to have
- Experience marketing health, fitness or wellness services.
- Brevo or Mailchimp, Google Analytics 4 and Google Business Profile.
- Organising events or community activations.
- Business-to-business (corporate) marketing.
- You understand why a studio like ours must not promise to "cure" or "treat" conditions in ads, and can still write copy that sells.
